Status Update: December 31st, 2024

Hey, guys. Ruffinn here. No, I’m not dead, in case anyone was wondering. I haven’t stopped subbing either. As I am down to the last few hours of 2024 (in my corner of the world), I wanted to put out an update, and an explanation (to anyone it may concern) for why I’ve been so inactive with subbing (and a lot of other things) in 2024. 

Many people are disappointed in or have given up on me, mostly in my real life. That is unsurprising, as I have underperformed in every way this year. The biggest struggle I’ve had was my financial struggle. I was recently fired from a part-time job, and I’m still on the hunt for another one. I had to switch parttime jobs multiple times either because I wasn’t a good fit for them, or vice-versa. And the times I wasn’t struggling financially, I was having a tough time finding balance in my life. I could only find time for one of the three: my studies, my work, or my hobbies. And to prioritize things, I mostly had to choose one of the first two. But that doesn’t mean I didn’t have any time for the 3rd one. I did, and whatever time I had, I tried to use it as wisely and productively as possible. I have been subbing many things, but as of this moment, most of them are only halfway done. So I couldn’t put out anything. That’s it for my status update. 

Now for the next part. I want to apologize to everyone I have let down this year. I wanted to do more, I swear. I know everyone has it tough, everyone has to balance work, life, and other things, and meet deadlines and fulfill promises nevertheless. So I can’t make excuses. I am simply… sorry.  

I want to sincerely thank everyone who supported and forgave me despite my flaws and mistakes. Thank you for the kind words you have given me- it helped me stay motivated.  

Lastly, I want to end 2024 on a hopeful note. I have many plans for 2025. I want to sub and successfully put out many things and videos. I know my channel has lost subscribers this year. So I want to thank the 204 people who are sticking around. And I promise that there are many things to look forward to in 2025.
